When it comes to managing our own money and planning for our financial future there are at least three types of women.  Which are you?

Type 1 -- You like the idea of taking charge of your financial future and are comfortable do that.  You understand at least the basics and sometimes a lot more.  If you need help, you know where to get good advice and reliable service.  You have put in the time and effort to take control of your money life.

Type 2 -- You don't know much about financial planning and don't want to know more.  The idea of managing your financial future is either too big, too scary, or too boring to deal with.  You don't have any idea of how to begin to learn what you need to learn to take charge -- but you don't care because you can always begin when you are older and really need to think about retirement.

Type 3 -- You want security and control, but where to begin?  Several New Year's resolutions have led you to books or publications about financial planning, but they left you more worried and confused than before.  You know what kind of information is not helpful, but don't know where to go for the materials that will get you on the right path.
